Week 5 in Yaoundé
Bonjour amis et familles! Happy 4th! Happy 9 months for me! This was another quick week with a very eventful weekend. Time goes by really quickly when you plan on being somewhere (in this case the mission office) for 4 hours every day. Let's get into it: MISSIONARY MOMENTS OF THE WEEK So many so many this week. All of them happened this weekend. On Saturday, my companion and I attended not one but 2 different baptisms - one in the morning and one around 4 PM. We sandwiched those events with a new-person lesson. It was this lady who a member had brought to church last week. One of the first things she said is that she belonged to another church, and seemed kind of wary of our message as we continued. But that kind of changed once we started talking about Joseph Smith and the Restoration and the Book of Mormon. She sat up straight, was really engaged, and she liked the message.
